Taste of Barbados at Turtle Bay
On a wickedly windy night on the 4th November, Taste of Barbados and the great and the good of the UK Bajan community were invited to the grand opening of the new Caribbean restaurant concept in Milton Keynes, Turtle Bay.
With heavy influences from Barbados, Turtle Bay is the first restaurant of its kind in the UK to offer the man on the street an overall Caribbean experience on such a grand scale. Taste of Barbados was in attendance at the launch as the supplier of Bajan food and drink brands to the Turtle Bay restaurant, which the invited guests certainly appeared to enjoy.
With such an eye for detail, the management at Turtle Bay wanted the most authentic of ingredients and products to be featured in this new dining and drinking experience. As a result, Taste of Barbados now supplies Banks Legends beer, Tiger Malt, Claytons Kola Tonic, Twist and the recently re-launched Coconut Cooler. To complement the food at Turtle Bay, Aunt Mays Pepper Sauce has also been chosen as the condiment of choice on every dining table.
This partnership between Turtle Bay and Taste of Barbados has put Bajan products firmly in front of the general restaurant goer, who to date may not have experienced the tasty delights from the island of Barbados.
